Santa Fe de Antioquia

Just 57 km from Medellín, Santa Fe de Antioquia is located between 500 and 550 meters above sea level and has approximately 26,000 inhabitants. Founded in 1541, it was the historic capital of the department and preserves a valuable colonial architectural heritage. Its economy is boosted by cultural tourism, its historic center, churches, squares, heritage architecture and warm climate.

Lo que hacemos por Santa Fe de Antioquia

Santa Fe de Antioquia has received more than $11.3 billion in investments that have strengthened both infrastructure and community capacities. Additional social investment, which exceeds $11.1 billion, has been key to promoting projects in education, health and rural mobility.

The PAE, with more than $274 million — of which $102 million corresponds to 2024 — has made it possible to address contingencies and accompany urgent social processes.

Thanks to these resources, the municipality has seen progress in improving rural roads, schools, hospitals, aqueducts and productive projects, together with community training actions and the delivery of school kits, which have strengthened the social fabric and the well-being of families.
